Hi everyone. How are you?
I thought I would drop a post to say hello and let you know what I have been up too over the weekend.
As you might be aware from my posts last week, I love Stampin’ Up products, but today I am sharing a Sara Signature Vintage Lace card that I have recently made. I love this range. The colours are so my style. Perhaps that’s why I liked it so much, and the butterflies!
The items used to make this 5” x 7” card.
Sara Signature Vintage Lace 12″ x 12″ paper pad (choose two different designs, one plain and one more detailed that match. The back of the paper pad is a good guide for this)

How to make this butterfly card.
· Cut some ivory card at 10″ x 7″ and score and fold at 5″ to make a landscape card.
· Cut the 1st layer to 6 3/4″ x 4 3/4″ using the less decorative paper design and centre it on the folded card with double-sided tape. With the more detailed paper and the 2nd largest of the die from the Rococo Frames, cut the 3rd layer.
· Die-cut some of the purple card using the largest of the Rococo Frame to make the 2nd layer. Adhere the 3rd layer on top of the purple die cut. Add some foam pads to the back of the purple die-cut and centre over the card base.
· Die-cut a selection of foliage from the Botanical and Vintage Vines using ivory and pale green pearl card and arrange to the bottom left of the 3rd layer.
Die-cut the smallest of the ornate rectangle dies with some of the ivory card, and the smallest die with some of the purple card.
Stamp the greeting ‘Thinking of You’ with the crushed velvet ink onto the small purple die-cut and using double-side foam pads adhere to the centre of the small ivory die-cut. Adhere to the top right of the 3rd layer.
Die-cut the largest of the butterflies with purple card and add three small pearls to the body of the butterfly. Adhere on top of the foliage with adhesive glue.
The inside of the card is left blank but does have a piece of
6 3/4″ x 4 3/4″ ivory card added which is adhered across the top edge.
That took some doing…again.
